This idea came to us from the frustration of failed first dates, where the person across the table does either too little or far too much. Most bank accounts felt the same, all flash with no follow-through. The PC Money Account was positioned as the one you could actually bring home to meet your parents. The spot allowed us to inject humour into a financial ad with the credit card mascot while also establishing a new creative system. The grey backdrop, which we now call the “PC World,” became the foundation for all PC campaigns moving forward.
