Duelling Donuts
After Jason Priestley invented a fictional Tims donut on How I Met Your Mother, we challenged Canadians to top it for a shot at $10K. Jason and Canada judged, and the winning donut hit stores nationwide. Inspired by the cartoons of my childhood, I designed the logo as a fighting cloud and in turn developed the brand identity for the competition, which later came to life in animation. For the “donut vs. donut” posters, I took cues from the graphic boxing posters of the 1960s and 70s.
